No! They lost!

It was one of the better Super Bowls I've watched in recent years, but, no - they lost. I'm glad you got your work done. Too bad it had to be on Super Bowl Sunday. The commercials rocked too.

Kelly: Yeah, I heard aaaaaaallll about it. In excruciating detail.

Sally: My 36 hours actually expired before the game. I emerged from my cave to see a little bit of it, but then left to put the kids to bed. I didn't really tune in after that because haven't we already won a whole bunch of Super Bowls?

It was tragic! I feel like I need some Super Glue for myself too. I wish I hadn't watched it (or at least I should have skipped the 2nd and 3rd quarters).

As far as I am concerned, it is November, and the Red Sox just won the World Series.

Maybe you should tell Husband that it is just a game.

Andrea: I have learned, through trial and error, not to say things like that. Including the variation, *Maybe it was somebody else's turn to win.*

Husband: That's right. Find your happy place.

Sandicita: Sounds like there's going to need to be a lot of therapy.

I managed to talk my entire family into switching sides last night (we live too close to that other team to make it easy), just for the opportunity to root for the Pats. At the end of the game my sixteen year old daughter turned to me and said "Mom, I'm going to have Eli's babies and you're just going to have to deal with it." Tell your husband I'm terribly, terribly sorry.

That sounds absolutely amazing... a weekend like that would be one of the best presents a husband could give his wife and mother of his kids! Glad you treasured it :)
