I've always considered buratta to be a mozzarella ball that's pregnant with a ricotta baby. Is that gross?

I've tried a pomegranate seeding technique that I learned from a Chopped contestant -- one that surprised a judge as well. And it works!

Cut the pomegranate into quarters (halves also work).

Put a bowl in the sink.

Grab a tablespoon (or smacking device of your choice).

Hold pomegranate portion over bowl, peel side toward you.

Smack pomegranate peel with back of tablespoon.

The seeds fly out! Usually there are only a few left to pry apart.

And all without flying juice and accompanying stains.
