This is the first time I have seen the recipe my mom always used (and I'm 55.) Your proportions are a bit different, so I'm going to try yours. The marshmallows, rather than fluff recipes makes all the difference--as well as the beating. Haven't tried an electric mixer--I'll do that too.

Hungry, Yet?

  • Never pass up the opportunity to make sour cherry preserves.

  • Huevos rancheros: my kind of breakfast (and lunch and dinner).

  • Lemony asparagus hummus: better than it sounds!

  • Rhubarb-blood orange parfaits to ring in springtime.

  • Chicken piccata: always a classic.
