Well, here we are at the halfway point of the Eat Local Challenge (cue half-hearted cheering). Let’s see if we broke out of any ruts.
And, nope.
Breakfast:
Yogurt (Stonyfield Farm, NH)
Cheerios (exempt) with milk (Crescent Ridge Dairy, MA)
Zucchini bread
Orange juice for everyone (no one else get sick, please)
Snack:
Pita chips (bread from Bay State Bakery, MA)
Lunch:
Jelly sandwiches on whole wheat bread (jam from Bonnie’s, MA)
Raspberries (Bart’s Farm, MA)
Cheddar cheese (Smith’s Farmstead, MA)
Snack:
Dried cranberries (New England Cranberry, MA)
Dinner:
Leftover roast chicken and stuffing
Steamed broccoli (Drumlin Farm, MA)
Green beans (Bart’s Farm, MA)
Apples (Autumn Hills Orchard, MA)
Notes: I was sick today. I could barely get it together to make pita chips. Thank goodness for pizza wheels. I did manage to drag my sorry behind to the farmer’s market in the rain. That was fabulous. I found celery, in case you were wondering, but what nobody seemed to have, and what I really needed, were yellow onions. WTF?
In other news, the Toddler finally ate raspberries today.

I hope you are feeling better Tammy. Take your vitamins!
