Ever since the debut of the Swedish Chef on the Muppet Show in the 1970’s, the Swedes have been up in arms about the portrayal of themselves as bumbling, mustachioed, culinary misfits who are none-too- attractive. About that, I have this to say. If I have to put up with the reputation Americans have for being obnoxious, oversexed, fat, and kinda dumb, then they have to embrace the Swedish Chef and all he stands for. After all, if the shoe fits…

No, those would be the ITALIAN female chefs with the mustaches. I'm working on a little one of my own!

No, not really. I would imagine there aren't too many hate crimes committed against Swedes, but I could be wrong.
